from an archive’s acquisition to its classification, or from facilitating collaborative archival research, to socio-spatial encounters with still-standing architectural archives, each manual proposes a set of step-by-step instructions, encouraging archival organisations, initiatives, or institutions to ask themselves similar questions to those that guided the formation of Collecting Otherwise’s archival tool shed



as managing editor, with editorial advisors Delany Boutkan and Setareh Noorani, i oversaw the publication of each manual, from conceptualization to distribution

bebe magazine’s first issue offers a broad constellation of possibilities for queer understandings, beyond identity-based reduction, each curator and contributors using a term with the pre-fix ‘trans’ of their choosing

I then identified the influence that design features, and design history, can have on the ‘public’ nature of public space, and exploring alternative possibilities
